Following its U.S. theatrical release last July 4, Lionsgate has announced the Kill digital release date for the newest Indian action thriller. Prior to its theatrical debut, the film first premiered at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival, where it received the first runner-up award for Midnight Madness’ People’s Choice Award.

When is the Kill digital release date?

Kill will be available to rent or own on digital platforms starting tomorrow, July 23. Since making its debut, the film has maintained its Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes with a current Tomatometer score of 90%, based on 91 reviews. Following its critical success, it has been recently reported that Kill will be receiving an English remake from the John Wick producers.

“When army commando Amrit finds out his true love Tulika is engaged against her will, he boards a New Delhi-bound train in a daring quest to derail the arranged marriage,” reads the synopsis. “But when a gang of knife-wielding thieves led by the ruthless Fani begin to terrorize innocent passengers on his train, Amrit takes them on himself in a death-defying kill-spree to save those around him — turning what should have been a typical commute into an adrenaline-fueled thrill ride.”

Kill is written and directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat. The film stars Lakshya as Amrit, Tanya Maniktala as Tulika, Raghav Juyal as Fani, Ashish Vidyarthi as Beni, Harsh Chhaya as Baldev Singh Thakur, Abhishek Chauhan as Viresh, Parth Tiwari as Siddhi, and more. It is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor, and Achin Jain.
