Re: Goodwill offers back-to-school savings ahead of tax-free holiday
From: Kate Quinones, Goodwill Industries of Central Florida
Good morning, Julie, hope this email finds that all is well. Parents are gearing up to hit the stores ( if they havenât already! ) to get all the supplies their kiddos will need for the upcoming school year, and on average, that can cost as much as $586 per student.
While Floridaâs tax-free holiday begins a week from today, Goodwill is already offering a 10% discount to students, teachers and education staffers.
The organization is also encouraging parents to sort through last yearâs school clothes, shoes and other supplies to donate any gently used items for another family to purchase. More information can be found here .
Response: Thanks for reaching out, Kate! We've shared this with our Daily Briefing readers Tuesday morning. Best wishes.
