MARSHFIELD, Mo. – One of eight original defendants accused of multiple child sex-related charges was sentenced Monday to at least 21 years in prison for statutory rape.

Alan Gilliam, 31, was sentenced to seven years on each of five charges for which he was found guilty in a trial in March 2024.

According to court documents, the judge ruled he would serve three of the terms consecutively and the remaining two concurrent to the first three. He must serve at least 85% of the sentences, Judge Chuck Replogle ruled.

Gilliam was charged in 2021 as part of a massive investigation of eight men in Webster County , all accused of having sex with girls as young as 12.
