Netflix drops Emily in Paris season four trailer — but fans all have same complaint

However, fans immediately found something to gripe about when the trailer dropped. Alongside a teaser clip, Netflix wrote, "Time to chic things up! Emily in Paris Season 4 Part 1 arrives on Netflix on August 15. Part 2 will premiere on September 12." And therein lies the issue... fans want it all at once. It's become a new norm for the streaming conglomerate to space out their releases.

"These 2 part releases are killing me Netflix," wrote a fan on TikTok . Another added, "These 2 part releases are killing me Netflix." One fan even came up with an idea to counter the releases — allowing payments for the service in two parts.

After all, Netflix customers already seem pretty dissatisfied and one claimed they've "run out of things to watch." While some were desperate for any form of content, others don't want to have an intermission in their binge session. One said: "After Bridgertons two part fiasco I’m just waiting for the entire thing to come out at once."

In the latest teaser, it appears Emily is learning "what it means to be single" all over again. However, the classic love triangle is still unraveling as she split from Alfie. Now, she has a chance to explore what being with Gabriel could be like, despite him still being enthralled in a chaotic love situation of his own.

Her split didn't go quietly, though. After all, Emily is a public figure and her split from Alfie was broadcast globally. Her boss is even angry because it's causing her a few business woes. She's given a stark warning to "fix this," but that would involve talking to Alfie who is very much not interested in having a conversation with his ex.

"I'm so sick of the secrets," warns Gabriel in the teaser. This seems to push Emily over the edge who screams back, "So am I!"

"Maybe I'm someone who's ready for new experiences," she eventually confesses later on, hinting that there could be a whole new aspect of her life that fans will get to see unfold. Later in the video, Emily emphasizes that she's still latched on to the old guys, though. She says: "I really thought I could move on from them, but both mean so much to me for different reasons."

The complicated love triangle seems to have a clear winner in the eyes of the fans. "Team Alfie" was commented in unison online as they prayed she'd find her way back to him. "if you don't pick Alfie and get out of the way!!!!!!!!!!" wrote one fan.
