Sports Reporter Hits Team USA With Ugly Reality Of Loss To Caitlin Clark, Team WNBA
By Angelo Guinhawa,

Sports reporter and media personality Rachel DeMita didn't hold back in her assessment of Team USA's loss to Caitlin Clark and Team WNBA in the All-Star Game last Saturday, July 20.
Considering that the Olympic selection committee "basically said that they chose the best 12 players in the WNBA," DeMita pointed out that the loss hurt their reputation. After all, how can the top players in the WNBA lose to other 12 players from the same league?
As DeMita further highlighted in a video she uploaded on Instagram, there was a lot of chatter as to why Clark and Arike Ogunbowale were not included on the Team USA roster. As it turned out, the complaints were warranted since the two proved that USA basketball made a mistake not choosing them.

Clark showed she's the best playmaker with 10 assists, while Ogunbowale scored a game-high 34 points en route to the All-Star MVP award. DeMita also gave a special shoutout to Angel Reese, who bagged a double-double (12 points, 11 rebounds) in the contest.
"Team USA is stacked full of amazing players and I’m sure will still win gold.. but this wasn’t the best look for the selection committee," DeMita commented on her video.
The USA women's basketball team remains the best team in the world and will go to the Paris Olympics as the heavy favorites. But as Rachel DeMita noted, the loss in the WNBA All-Star Game will continue to haunt them and make fans question if they really chose the best players available.
