LeBron James' Heroics In Team USA's Win Over Germany Have Fans In Shock

Team USA once again narrowly escaped defeat with a 92-86 win in their final friendly against Germany, and it was LeBron James who again stepped up to lead the team to victory down the stretch.

James starred for the Americans down the stretch (20 PTS, 6 REB, 4 AST, 8/11 FGM), and in a back-and-forth fourth quarter, his contributions were game-changing. In the final five minutes of the contest, LeBron ended up outscoring Germany 11 to 8 on his own.

Even on a star-studded Team USA squad, it's eye-opening to see LeBron still leading the way. And after his latest heroics, fans were going ballistic on social media.

Even as he closes in on his 40th birthday, James is still arguably the best player on a loaded Team USA roster. That is truly something that cannot be overstated.

Team USA has now officially won all five of their friendlies ahead of the 2024 Summer Olympics, and their two most recent victories over South Sudan and Germany are largely due to James' late-game heroics.

If LeBron can keep on stepping up like this for Team USA once the Olympics officially get underway, their chances of winning gold will increase exponentially.
