Report: Skye Blue Suffered Broken Ankle, Update On Other AEW Injuries

A new report provides an update on Skye Blue and other AEW stars who are dealing with injuries.

Skye Blue suffered an apparent injury during her match against Hikaru Shida on the July 20th episode of AEW Collision, and the match was stopped. Kyle Fletcher then shared a picture in which Blue’s foot was taped up.

In an update, Bryan Alvarez of F4W reports that Skye Blue suffered a broken ankle. Meanwhile, Dalton Castle will have to undergo surgery Alvarez notes that Castle did not suffer a concussion. It’s a different injury, and Castle will need to undergo surgery after it was announced that he would be out of action for the rest of 2024.

Plus, Alvarez writes that Jay White is dealing with a legitimate foot injury, but he is not expected to miss a significant amount of time. He last wrestled on the July 6th episode of AEW Collision.

Finally, Alvarez writes that Killswitch hurt his arm on the July 20th episode of AEW Collision, where The Patriarchy beat The Bang Bang Gang to win the AEW World Trios Championship. Per Alvarez, the injury appears to be a partially torn biceps, but it’s expected that Killswitch will work through it.
