Pennsylvania man charged for Juneau County crash that left 1 dead

MAUSTON, Wis (WKBT) -- New details have been released about the Juneau County crash that left one person dead last Wednesday.

52-year-old Derek Schaffer of Pennsylvania is charged with intoxicated vehicular homicide, operating without a driver's license, and possession of THC.

According to the criminal complaint, Schaffer was driving himself and a friend on I-90/94 East early Wednesday morning when he crossed both lanes of traffic and rolled several times into a ditch.

State troopers found a woman dead at the scene, and marijuana and open liquor near the car.

A Juneau County judge has set a $10,000 cash bond.
