In a since-deleted post on Instagram, two images of the new Ferrari hypercar were recently shared, giving us our best look yet at the LaFerrari successor, said to be internally codenamed F250. The new sighting of the Maranello-made hypercar was made by photographer Dom Goebel, and the images show what appears to be either the final production bodywork or something very close to it. Gone are the canvas headlight covers and drapes over the intake elements seen in earlier spy shots, allowing us to get a better idea of where airflow will be directed. With all that being said, this is still a somewhat crude prototype, and we expect cleaner edges and a more congruent look when the last of the camouflage comes off.

Porsche production manager Albrecht Reimold tells Automobilewoche that the 718 lineup, comprised of the Boxster and Cayman, will end production in 2025. Porsche has already been forced to retire the 718 twins in Europe due to more stringent cybersecurity regulations (and the Macan along with it). More stringent emissions requirements across the pond would have done the pair in at some point as it is. The 718’s electric replacement is underway, and while Reimold didn’t share further details on the upcoming models, it’s hard to imagine Porsche will leave much of a gap between the end of 718 production and the next model’s introduction.
