EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU) — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced Monday a bridge over the Susquehanna River will be closed in Union and Northumberland Counties.

In a release, PennDOT advised drivers the bridge preservation project will continue on the Watsontown River Bridge, which carries Route 1010 / Route 1014, Brimmer Avenue, over the West Branch Susquehanna River in Union and Northumberland counties.

PennDOT explained Brimmer Avenue will be closed between Route 15 in White Deer Township in Union County and Elm Street and Canal Street in Watsontown Borough, Northumberland County, while Ram Services Inc., the contractor, installs expansion dam seals.
