CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – AAA says gas prices may have already peaked for the summer, and that we can expect to see a price decline.

Prices in Massachusetts dropped from this time last week, from $3.51 to $3.50. That’s still 7 cents higher than last month, but 6 cents lower than this time last year.

AAA claims the reason for the decline is the demand being weak both domestically, and in China, the world’s largest importer of oil.
