Although Indigo children have been around for a long time, they’re still relatively unknown. Those familiar with Indigo children may have heard that they have psychic powers or other amazing abilities. Previously, it was believed that these children were decreasing in numbers, but recently, there may have been a spike.
Specifically, these children are given the name, Blue Ones, and they've always existed but hidden in plain sight with only a few being born at a time. In fact, they would become innovators and leaders of our world and would reach various successes, getting either hate or praise for their contributions. However, once the twentieth century ended, it seemed that the birth of Indigo children would become more prominent.
The Five Indigo Generations
According to New Age Theorist, Ms. Nancy An Tappe, indigo children are likely to live among us in our families or you could become one of them. To take a step further many new age theorists believe that anyone has the potential to be an indigo child.
Despite the concept not being considered real science, Tappe wasn’t discouraged in her findings on these special children and their fascinating abilities. In fact, she would split Indigo children into five separate generations based on their date of birth based on her research.
The Alpha Generation
The first generation of indigo children are called Alpha consisting of children born between 1958 and 1968. Following the birth period, their spiritual awakening period takes place immediately after from 1968 to 1996. This period is known as Saturn’s return and typically begins in their 28th year of age when they can regain access to their forgotten power.
Furthermore, the Alpha Generation is known for its dark blue, green, and purple aura. However, these children can also develop a beige hue, appearing to protect them from external attacks. Likewise, this color change reveals their indigo potential. As young children, the alphas would struggle with a lack of connection to their homes and even parents as they often questioned their belonging in the world for unknown or unexplained reasons.
The Beta Generation
After the Alphas, comes the second indigo generation, Beta, who are children born between 1968 and 1978. These Indigo children were born with similar auras consistent with the Alphas of blue, purple, and green. However, what separates these children from the previous generation is that they don’t have the beige color aura change. For these children, their spiritual awakening period happens between 1996 to 2006. Lastly, similar to the Alphas, the Beta generation is seen as being younger than their actual age.
The Gamma Generation
Between 1978 and 1988, the third indigo generation, Gamma, was born. Contrastingly, these Indigo children differ from the first two generations as they have fewer overlays in their aura. If they do have an overlay, their color is a regular purple color.
Moreover, there can be crystal markings found in their overlay, though its appearance is rare. Lastly, their spiritual awakening happens between the years of 2006 to 2016. Primarily, the Gamma generation is the the first to struggle with mental disorders, ADHD, and ADD specifically.
The Delta Generation
The birth of the Delta generation took place from 1988 to 1998, with their main characteristic being their pure indigo aura color. Furthermore, these Indigo children experience a spiritual awakening period between 2016 and 2026, where they go through maturation. Overall, the Delta generation struggles with intense sensitivity, but it doesn't stop them from being overactive and extroverted as they have high self-esteem.
Another characteristic that these children are known for is their preference for purple and blue colors in their surroundings. Although they have high esteem, the Delta generation has challenging teenage years as they often feel there’s something wrong with them. These negative feelings may lead to drug abuse or suicidal tendencies, however, being in nature is a cure for them.
Like Gammas, the Delta generation can have crystal overlays as well and is often the wildest generation with ADD/ADHD. To explain why this generation struggles with staying focused, it's believed that the media affects their auras. As a result of overstimulation, the Deltas must keep the crystal elements of their auras under control. However, if they do drugs, then their ADHD symptoms worsen with continued use.
The Omega Generation
Considered to be the last pure indigo generation, the Omegas were born between 1998 and 2008. When adapting to their environment, Indigo children of the Delta and Omega generations face the same struggles. Surprisingly, these children tend to be descendants of previous indigos and/or are reincarnations of the Alpha or Beta generations. Finally, during their spiritual awakening years between 2026 and 2036, the Omega generation will sadly begin declining in population.
Helping Indigo Children Unlock Their Potential
Currently, most indigo adults are either headed into or already in their spiritual awakening years. With that said, these awakenings can occur in people under 30 years of age but are extremely rare. Specifically, Indigo children can develop the ability to see their true selves even before their Saturn return since their auras cannot block their potential or psychic powers.
Although removing their auras to unlock their hidden abilities is possible, the process can be difficult and even dangerous. If the process isn’t done correctly, they can become traumatized. So, as powerful as these children are and can be, they must learn how to properly manage their abilities to live their best lives.
