Thai GL Series The Secret of Us Episode 5 Recap & Spoilers

The Secret of Us aired its fifth episode on Monday, July 22, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. ICT on Channel 3. The drama stars Lingling Sirilak Kwong as Fahlada and Orm Kornnaphat Sethratanapong as Earn. The storyline revolves around the former flames’ dramatic reunion years after they were forced to part ways.

Episode 5 of The Secret of Us begins with Earn cooking dinner for Fahlada. Despite refusing to eat with her, the latter says she’ll taste the dish and continues to eat it. Fahlada even does the dishes while Earn assembles a puzzle piece. The former assists her when the latter says she’s been working on it for a long time but still can’t do it. The following flashback shows Fahlada gifting Earn a jigsaw puzzle for her to complete. The former kept the final picture a secret and mentioned that it was important for their relationship.

Lada puts a blanket on Earn when she falls asleep, and she continues to assemble the puzzle. The latter wakes up to a completed piece and discovers the picture is of her dream house. In the past, Earn told Lada she’d own that house one day. After the latter wakes up, the former asks her if it is their house. Lada doesn’t answer and gets up to leave. Earn follows her out and kisses her cheek as she tells Lada to drive safely. The latter then scolds herself and remembers to stay focused.

Lada goes to the hospital and finds flowers on her table. She assumes they are from Earn. However, Wisanu walks in and asks Lada if she likes the flowers. He then asks her to join him for coffee before her next appointment. After Lada messages Bow and Tan for help, the two join for the coffee. She even made Rossarin call her for an urgent case with a patient so she could leave.

Earn brings over snacks for the crew on the shooting day. Later, after seeing her in a good mood, Engfah tells her not to forget about her when good things happen. Earn tells her she’ll do whatever she wants. Engfah then asks her for a kiss on the cheek as a reward and gets close. Meanwhile, Ratee films the two.

Orm Kornnaphat gets hurt on the shooting set

During filming, Earn falls and is injured after Ratee seemingly pushes her. Engfah calls the latter out for doing so intentionally. Suzie also accuses Ratee of hurting Earn and says she still doesn’t feel guilty. The director then says Ratee has messed up the cue, even if it wasn’t intentional. He adds that he hasn’t heard an apology from her even after hurting Earn. After squabbling, Suzie learns that Earn is bleeding and rushes her to the hospital.

Lada gets worried about Earn after seeing her come in on a stretcher. The former assures Suzie and Engfah she’ll take care of her. Earn holds Lada’s hand as she prepares to treat her wound. The latter then stitches up the former’s cut. After Lada asks Earn if it still hurts, she replies yes and adds that she wants to keep feeling this way so the former will pay attention to her.

Lingling Kwong gets angry at Orm Kornnaphat

Later, Lada tells Suzie that Earn must follow her instructions during the recovery. The former then adds that she shouldn’t go out drinking at night. Afterward, Engfah takes teasing Lada too far and says Earn had told her that the two were “friends” when they were abroad. Furthermore, Ratee fuels Lada against Earn and says she flirts with everyone. The former continues to show the latter a picture of the pair on set. Lada is infuriated upon seeing it.

Furthermore, Lada goes to Earn’s house and bursts at her. The former accuses the latter of messing with her. Earn denies it, saying the only person she loves is Lada and wants to build a family with her. The latter then smashes the puzzle piece out of anger. Lada continues to accuse Earn of lying again and playing with her feelings. The latter then slaps her when the former insults her and offers her money for the night they spent together.

How does The Secret of Us episode 5 end?

After the explosive fight, Earn breaks down in tears as Suzie comforts her. Meanwhile, Lada goes out drinking with her friends. Afterward, when Suzie informs Engfah that Earn wants to leave the industry, the latter meets Lada and asks her to reconcile with her ex. Engfah explains that she wants to court Earn, but the only person she has in her heart is Lada. After learning that Ratee fueled the fire, Engfah finds information about her and warns her not to mess with Earn and Lada anymore.

The Secret of Us episode 5 ends with Lada going to Earn’s house.
