Displaced left turn educational meeting held today

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- With construction on a new intersection in Warrick County expected to end soon, INDOT wants to make sure that everyone knows how it will be used.

The intersection at State Road 66 and Epworth is being transformed into what is known as a displaced left turn, the first of four to be built along the Lloyd Expressway over the next few years. An informational meeting about the Displaced Left Turn will take place today from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Evansville Christian School.

During the educational event, motorists will have the chance to walk through a visualization of the intersection, view project maps and watch instructional videos about displaced left turn intersections.
