Washington, D.C. – U.S. News & World Report, the global authority in rankings and consumer advice, today released the 2024 Best Medical Schools in Research and 2024 Best Medical Schools in Primary Care. In each of these categories, the methodology was updated to recognize the top medical schools by placing them within four different tiers of performance.

U.S. News Releases 2024 Best Medical Schools

U.S. News & World Report released its annual medical school rankings and ratings July 23, including rankings of the most diverse schools. For the diversity ranking, the media company examined 164 medical and osteopathic schools based on fall 2023 race and ethnicity enrollment information. The information was either reported to U.S. News in fall 2023 or early 2024, or from the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Aurora’s pallet shelters for people experiencing homelessness, which only allow a maximum 30-day stay, have been cycling the same individuals in and out, city staff told council members Thursday. Many return to street encampments when their time in the pallet shelter runs out, Jessica Prosser, homeless services director for the city, said.
