11th annual Back to School Blast starts this week

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – The 11th annual Back to School Blast to help Jackson County students and families with the upcoming school year is scheduled on Thursday, July 25… and will be at a new place this year.

6 News anchors Jorma Duran and Megan Viecelli spoke with Lynne Huismann, one of the event organizers, who says that at least 1,250 backpacks filled with supplies will be given out for free.
