Diddy's return to the online world follows a diss track where Eminem took a swipe at him in his most recent tune. Eminem's lyrics in the track Fuel go, "I'm like an R-A-P-E-R, got so many S-As / Wait, he didn't just spell the word 'rapper' and leave out a P, did he? ".
The controversy surrounding Diddy's legal woes, which include multiple accusations of sexual assault and domestic violence, has been a hot topic. His legal team has "vehemently" denied these allegations on his behalf.
The saga began when his former partner Cassie Ventura filed a lawsuit against him, only to reach an out-of-court settlement with the artist the following day.
Despite Diddy's denial of Ventura's claims, a shocking video emerged showing him violently attacking Cassie in a hotel corridor. This led to Diddy confronting his violent history in a public video statement: "It's so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that. I was ****** up - I hit rock bottom - but I make no excuses."
He continued, taking full ownership of his actions in the footage: "My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I was disgusted then when I did it. I'm disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help. I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I'm so sorry. But I'm committed to be a better man each and every day. I'm not asking for forgiveness. I'm truly sorry."
In a move that erased all content, including the apology video, Diddy cleared his Instagram profile. He continues to refute other allegations made by different women.
Adding to his troubles, Homeland Security raided his properties in Miami and LA as part of a human trafficking probe, which Diddy has also strongly denied any involvement in.
