Trump Rages in Late Night Rant With Falsehood-Riddled Attacks On Kamala Harris and ‘ABC Fake News’

Former President Donald Trump raged into the midnight hour at media coverage of Vice President Kamala Harris , and her ascent after the bombshell dropout of President Joe Biden from the presidential race.

Trump was riding high with a widening lead as President Biden’s campaign was on a media firing line since his debate performance touched off calls for him to drop out. Then Trump was injured in a shooting nine days ago — an assassination attempt that garnered a wave of media goodwill.

That wave dovetailed into an ostentatious Republican National Convention at which Trump selected Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) to be his running mate. Not to mention Trump-appointed Judge Aileen Cannon dismissing the Espionage Act case against him — a major victory for Trump just days after surviving that assassination attempt.

Then the other shoe dropped — on Sunday afternoon , Biden announced he would no longer be seeking a second term — and minutes later threw his support behind his veep.

That blockbuster news rolled out all day Monday with reports about energized donors and sharp attacks from the new Harris for President campaign.

Trump took the news hard in a series of Truth Social posts that continued into the midnight hour:

Among Trump’s falsehoods are the fact that VP Harris was never appointed “border czar” — she was tasked with some diplomatic mission to address the “root causes of immigration” in Central America — and Harris is not close to the most unpopular veep ever. She hit the highest net unfavorability for a VP in one specific NBC News poll . Trump’s net unfavorability was actually 5 points higher in the same poll.
