Political reporters Amie Parnes and Jonathan Allen have inked a deal to publish a third book, the latest chronicling the 2024 election.

Parnes, a senior corespondent at The Hill and Allen, a senior politics reporter at NBC News are the authors of New York Times bestsellers “Shattered,” and “Lucky.”

The pair have not released a name or publication date for their third title but said recent events in the quickly changing campaign cycle provided an opportunity to author a third book project.

“We weren’t going to do a book this year, and then the last month happened,” the pair said in a statement. “Sources and readers kept pushing us to get under the hood of this campaign, and they were right. We’re thrilled to be working with Mauro DiPreta at William Morrow.”

Bridget Wagner Matzie of Aevitas Creative Management negotiated the deal with Mauro DiPreta at William Morrow.
