Is it too late to replace Kevin Durant? With Team USA not being as dominant as expected, there are calls for the team to replace the injured Phoenix Suns star. Durant has been out for most of Team USA's preparation due to a calf injury.

However, the players don't think it's a wise idea. When asked about the idea of finding a Durant replacement, Boston Celtics star Jrue Holiday seemed perplexed at the mere thought of booting the Suns star.

“It’s Kevin Durant," Holiday responded. "What are we talking about — we need him out there.”

Team USA has already replaced one player on their roster. Kawhi Leonard was taken off the team presumably due to injury concerns. However, Kerr and the rest of the team believe that gambling on Durant's health is a risk they're willing to take.

Team USA has completed their tune-ups for the Olympics after a narrow win against Germany. Their first Olympic game will be against Nikola Jokic's Serbia. Will Durant be ready then?
