Andy Murray is one of the most famous and decorated British sportspeople of the 21st century. For some, he is the greatest professional the UK has ever produced.

Over a career spanning 19 years, the Scot became his country's first major champion in tennis for over 75 years and won a remarkable haul of titles, all while competing alongside arguably the greatest trio of men's players the game has ever seen: the "Big Three" of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic.

Murray also made history as an Olympian, his triumph at the 2012 Games in London rightly heralded as perhaps the finest moment of his career. Now, he is preparing for the Paris Olympics, which he says will be his final tournament before he retires.

The Sporting News looks at Murray's incredible career, his grand-slam triumphs, his historic Olympic Games record, and how much he has earned.
