PLANNING THE NEXT 24 HOURS : A few storms are possible ahead of a cold front early this evening, with temperatures falling through the 70s. An isolated strong storm is possible through mid evening for areas near Illinois. Temperatures will fall into the lower 60s tonight under partly cloudy skies. Some patchy fog is possible. Wednesday will feature skies turning partly sunny, with a slight chance of a shower through the late afternoon. Temperatures will climb into the mid to upper 70s. And a great night for Concerts On The Square is in the forecast.

EXTENDED FORECAST : We should remain dry Wednesday night through at least Saturday of this upcoming weekend. Temperatures remain seasonal through the rest of this week before temperatures climb into the upper 80s by Sunday, lasting through the middle of next week. With the return of warmer temperatures and humidity, storm chances will return by Sunday, lasting into the middle of next week. Additionally, due to wildfires out west and smoke being caught in the jet stream, our skies across southern Wisconsin will remain hazy over the next few days.
