Miranda Lambert Reveals Snippet Of Unreleased Divorce Anthem: 'Alimony'

Miranda Lambert revealed a sneak peek of an unreleased anthem as she teased a “big week” on the horizon.

The powerhouse singer-songwriter previewed “Alimony” with a snippet of the unreleased divorce anthem on Instagram on Monday evening (July 22). Lambert did not announce when the song would release, but she wrote in her caption that she’s “heading into a big week…💌” Lambert has not offered any updates on an “Alimony” release date or other announcements as of publication time on Tuesday (July 23).

Lambert has shared a few singles as she’s teased her next chapter of music. Earlier this year, she kicked off her new era with “Wranglers,” a fiery revenge song that’s reminiscent of her “Kerosene” days. “Dammit Randy” and “Ain’t In Kansas Anymore,” which appears on the star-studded Twisters album, have since followed. Lambert’s most recent full-length album is Palomino , a 15-track project that arrived in April 2022. Palomino aimed to introduce a cast of characters as listeners embarked on a cross-country journey with tracks like “Actin’ Up” (which includes a lyric that inspired the name of Lambert's Las Vegas residency), “Geraldene,” “Music City Queen” featuring The B-52’s, “If I Was a Cowboy” and more.
