Two new collections by Evlox unlock the power of collaboration.

The denim mill, which has headquarters in Spain and a factory in Morocco, presented the collections earlier this month at Première Vision in Paris. Each one explores the creative possibilities that can be achieved with sustainable fabrics while highlighting the benefits of working with local suppliers.

When choosing collaborators, Wassim Tilouche, Evlox’s manager said Evlox focuses on the ecological and social aspects of the company, followed by their know-how to diversify into different European markets.

In Tunisian Denim Essence by Evlox, the mill demonstrates “strength through unity” by partnering with five leading manufacturers in Tunisia—Asterias, Denim House, Kingplus, La Mic and Tanit Textile— to showcase the country’s denim expertise . The suppliers are long-standing partners of Evlox, and share many prestigious European clients as the mill, Tilouche said.

The five manufacturers pooled their creativity and knowledge to create 15 premium silhouettes, including trendy jackets and trousers, showcasing Tunisian know-how in washes. The fabrics are made of sustainable fibers like organic cotton, regenerative cotton and recycled color weaves and use Ice Khol by Evlox, a low impact dye process. According to Jeanologia’s EIM score, Ice Khol saves 88 percent chemicals, 76 percent water and 22 percent energy.

“Tunisian suppliers meet the needs of the European market in terms of both ecological standards and quality,” Tilouche said. “Additionally, Tunisia’s proximity helps reduce carbon emissions. These suppliers primarily serve the premium market due to their continuous investment in infrastructure, the latest eco-friendly washing technologies, and their responsiveness. Evlox has much in common with Tunisian suppliers, such as a focus on the premium market and ecological sustainability.”

Evlox also partnered with Lamosa, a Portuguese manufacturer, and Etisatos, a Portuguese label supplier, to develop a collection that showcases the natural and original characteristics of raw denim in a new way.

Called Unwashed Surfaces, the collection features six jeans for men and women with looser and flowy silhouettes that move with the wearer—a contrast from the stiff and rough qualities raw denim is traditionally known for.

Each fabric in the collection has a distinct character, featuring recycled colored wefts and double indigo dye. The collection also uses Evlox’s Smoothic technology, which enhances fabrics with a unique plush-like softness.

The jeans are finished with garment labels by Etisatos made using recycled cardboard and water-based inks compliant with FSC certification.
