Asics , Sportscraft and Speedo have embraced Australia’s national colors and Indigenous heritage to create uniforms for the 460 athletes who will represent the country in the 2024 Paris Olympics and Paralympics.

As the official partner of Team Australia , Asics will provide sportswear and gear not only for athletes but also for coaches, medical staff and other team members during the Olympic Games, outfitting approximately 800 members of the Australian delegation.

Each piece of the uniform features an ombré green and gold color scheme, symbolizing Australia’s national colors.

The uniform also features prints created by Paul Fleming, an Indigenous artist who represented Australia in boxing at the Beijing 2008 Olympics, and Indigenous artist David Bosun. Fleming’s artwork, titled “Walking Together,” symbolizes the union of different countries and cultures together in a central meeting place. Bosun’s “Ngalmun Danalaig (Our Way of Life)” represents traditional and modern culture in the Torres Strait, an archipelago between Australia and the Melanesian island of New Guinea that is home to a unique Aboriginal culture.

The sportswear designs also include an arrow pattern known as Japonism Yagasuri to represent Asics’ Japanese heritage.

The uniforms feature advanced ventilation technology suited to the Parisian climate. Each piece is designed to accommodate various body types and sporting requirements.

While Asics takes care of athletes on the field, Speedo is the official swimwear supplier for Team Australia. The brand created a collection featuring high-performance suits designed for various aquatic sports.

The opening ceremony uniforms will feature the artwork by Fleming and Bosun on accessories, including scarves. Athletes will also wear exclusive footwear from Volley.

The 2024 Paris Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad, will take place from July 26 to Aug. 11. This edition of the Olympics marks the centenary of the last time Paris hosted the Games in 1924.
