She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has just received a major update from Marvel Studios producer Wendy Jacobson.

The first season of She-Hulk aired on Disney+ from August to October 2022, following Jennifer Walters ( Tatiana Maslany ) as she balances being a lawyer and She-Hulk. The Marvel Cinematic Universe series received generally positive reviews from critics and fans, although the visual effects were criticized as looking unfinished in some scenes. She-Hulk Season 1 also ended with more than one dangling plot thread, such as the introduction of the Hulk’s son, Skaar, who was born and raised on the alien planet Sakaar.

    Is She-Hulk Season 2 happening?

At the time of writing, a second season of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has not officially been ordered by Marvel Studios and Disney+. However, while speaking with ComicBook.com , Jacobson shared that a second season could find She-Hulk exploring the multiverse.

“I mean, if we’re doing more She-Hulk… What I love about She-Hulk is just kind of being in this character’s everyday life. It’s a woman in her thirties, trying to navigate her life and her career and her friendships, and oh, she just happens to also be able to turn into a Hulk. So, I think I would love to explore more of that,” she said. “There’s also a run in the comics where she goes into space and she’s adjudicating cases for the Living Tribunal. So, I either want to be super, super grounded in L.A. or I want to take her out into the multiverse, or into the universe.”

While Jacobson seems to think that She-Hulk Season 2 remains a strong possibility at Marvel, Maslany doesn’t think that the Jade Giantess’ solo series will be coming back. In January 2024, she explained, “ I think we blew our budget , and Disney was like, ‘No thanks.'” The first season of She-Hulk reportedly had a budget of around $225 million, making it one of the more expensive MCU projects.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is available to stream on Disney+.
