Thai Actor Jeff Satur’s Upcoming Series & Movie

The acclaimed Thai musician Jeff Satur has continued to mesmerize fans with his unique catalog. Beyond his career in the music industry, the artist has also showcased his acting prowess over the years in several projects.

While Jeff has been a popular name in the country, he was introduced to international viewers in the 2022 Thai BL drama, KinnPorsche The Series La Forte. The popularity of the 29-year-old has skyrocketed since then. Jeff Satur is now gearing up to star in multiple projects. This article provides a glimpse of the actor’s upcoming films and series.

The Paradise of Thorns

The upcoming Thai film The Paradise of Thorns will be released in Thailand on Thursday, August 22, 2024. The film stars Jeff and Engfa Waraha in the lead roles. The storyline follows the story of a gay couple, Thongkham (Jeff) and Sek. The two endeavor to build a life together as they work tirelessly to own a house and a durian orchard.

However, Thongkham is struck with tragedy when an accident suddenly takes Sek’s life. The former loses all the rights over their assets since they were not legally married in Thailand. Sek’s mother becomes the new owner of the house and orchard and moves in with Mo (Engfa), her adopted daughter, and gardener Jingna. Thongkham then embarks on a fight to claim what is rightfully his.

Wuju Bakery

Jeff’s latest BL series with prominent Thai actor Barcode Tinnasit Isarapongporn was announced following the success of KinnPorsche. Wuju Bakery was initially set to release during the early part of 2024. However, the production announced that the project had been delayed to the second half of the year.

The plot of this Korean BL drama follows U Ju (Barcode), who re-established a small bakery in a small town that holds memories with his parents. However, the bakery gets destroyed when a spaceship crash-lands into it. Immediately after, U Ju comes across an alien named Ra On (Jeff), and their chaotic cohabitation begins from thereon.

Happy Ending Series

Happy Ending marks Jeff’s first work as a producer. At the same time, it is also the first original series from Jeff’s label, Studio On Saturn. The project features a star-studded cast which includes Jeff and Barcode as Damon and Anawin, respectively. They are also joined by popular Thai actor Mike Angelo as Finn and 4EVE member Jorin Khumpiraphan as Joanna.

Happy Ending follows Anawin, an anti-fan who has a strong dislike towards the web novel Finn & Damon as well as its antagonist, i.e. Damon. However, things take a dramatic turn when Damon steps out of the fictional story and comes face to face with Anawin. Studio On Saturn is yet to provide further information regarding the filming and release window for Happy Ending.

Vamp The Series

Vamp The Series stars Mike, Becky Rebecca Patricia Armstrong, and Jeff Satur in the main roles. The rest of the star ensemble cast includes Luke Ishikawa Plowden, First Chalongrat Novsamrong, and Nink Chanya McClory. The fantasy storyline follows a vampire named V (Mike) and the immortal Crimson Alliance. As Sean (Jeff) begins to hunt, V finds himself in a vulnerable position.

The pilot trailer for the upcoming series was released earlier this year. It teases viewers that the vampire will get stuck in a dilemma between love and betrayal as Becca (Becky), V’s lover, may play a part in V’s downfall. In the pilot, the former is seen holding a gun at the latter. Vamp The Series has entered production as MDA Entertainment has shared behind-the-scenes looks at the characters. However, the release date of the same is yet to be announced.
