Fall is (almost) in the air and it’s time to bring those warm, cozy vibes into your home. Thanks to TikTok creator Bethany @BethanysCasa, we’ve got a genius DIY hack that will add an autumnal touch to your kitchen without breaking the bank. Trust us, this Dollar Tree shower rod hack is so simple and creative, you'll wonder why you didn't think of it sooner!

First things first, head over to your nearest Dollar Tree and grab an extendable shower rod and a pool noodle—yes, you heard that right, a pool noodle. For a fall theme , pick an orange pool noodle to set the tone (just in case you don't quite get everything covered up perfectly). Don’t forget to gather up some decorations too; garlands, flowers, and leaves in autumnal colors , think oranges, reds, and rust colors, are perfect for this project.

Start by cutting a long slit into one side of your pool noodle. This will allow it to slip over the shower rod easily. Next up is your garland. Bethany uses a long garland with a small, thin wire loop at one end, which she spirals down the length of the shower rod. This provides a sturdy base for all your other decorations.

Once your garland is securely wrapped around the pool noodle, it's time to get your creative juices flowing. Bethany took multiple flowers, cut the stems off, and used their semi-sharp ends to stick them into the foam. If you prefer not to cut the stems, hot glue works just as well to ensure everything stays in place but is less easily replaceable if you want to reuse the pool noodle rather than take it off each time to swap out decor. Keep adding flowers, leaves, and fillers until the pool noodle is completely covered. Bethany used a mix of flowers, fall-colored leaves, and red berries to give her creation that perfect autumn look.

After you've decked out your shower rod and pool noodle combo, all you have to do is find the perfect spot in your kitchen. Think of a nook window above your sink as an ideal place. The tension from the extendable shower rod will hold it in place without the need for hooks or nails, making it super easy to swap out when the season changes.

How Can You Customize This Look?

Customizing this look for your own home is as easy as pie. If you’re already looking ahead to Christmas, imagine how fabulous this hack would look with greenery, pine cones, and twinkling lights. For spring, opt for soft greens and florals, or go patriotic for the Fourth of July with red, white, and blue decorations. The possibilities are endless, and you’re sure to impress your guests with your seasonal decor skills.

And that is it! This Dollar Tree shower rod hack by Bethany @BethanysCasa is the perfect way to add a touch of fall to your kitchen. It’s easy, affordable, and adaptable for any season or holiday. Don't forget to let us know what you think in the comments below!
