Kathy Hilton Supports Kyle Richards After Mauricio Umansky Spotted Kissing Nikita Kahn, ‘Hard Pill to Swallow’

Kyle Richards’ estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky , was photographed engaging in a very public display of affection with another woman a few days ago. Kathy Hilton swooped in to lend her little sister some support.

Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for over a year now, but Kathy said in a recent interview that Kyle seeing proof of Mau moving on was a “hard pill to swallow.”

Even though the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills former couple has no plans to reconcile, Kathy shared that she still needed to calm Kyle down in the aftermath of the photos.

Kathy tried to “just kind of calm [Kyle] down a little bit”

Kathy revealed to Page Six that Kyle had a tough time after pictures hit the media featuring Mauricio and actress Nikita Kahn making out in the Mykonos airport

Kathy says she tried to assuage Kyle’s difficult feelings about the (inevitable) situation. “I think it was a hard pill to swallow seeing it.”

“So what I’m trying to do is just kind of calm her down a little bit. ‘You know this was bound to happen. You’ve been separated.'”

Kathy also reminded Kyle that she and Mau agreed he could do “what he wants to do.” And, Kyle has the same free reign. Kathy says she knew they were “eventually going to see something” like this happen. However, it still stung.

Around the same time the Mau and Nikita pics came out, a presumably upset Kyle removed “wife” from her Instagram bio. In the days following the airport makeout, Mauricio and Nikita have been spotted cozying up together throughout Greece.

Production of RHOBH Season 14 is currently underway. We may see some of this play out when it returns to Bravo, likely in late 2024 or early 2025.
