Ways Dogs Show Their Affection
Besides staying by our side, our dogs have many ways of showing us how much they care. Their happy tail wags , kisses, and wiggles can provide insight into their feelings. Many dogs also bring us gifts, sometimes their most cherished toys. Others become familiar with items we use often and bestow those as gifts upon us when we return home. Our beloved canine companions also choose to snuggle near us when relaxing on the couch and find solace in sleeping next to us in bed at night. While many can recognize our names, others will gaze into our eyes as if they were looking into our souls. Although they may not use words, they communicate their affection and appreciation to us in many ways, and they are all endearing. It’s what makes the bond between us and our dogs special.
