    Cold front headed to Piedmont Triad

    (WGHP) — The Piedmont will continue to dodge scattered showers and thunderstorms.

    We’ll see scattered showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Some storms will be capable of producing localized heavy rain. The chance of rain is 60%.

    A cold front will approach the Piedmont on Thursday. With more clouds and better rain chances, our highs will be in the upper 70s to lower 80s. The chance of rain is 80%. Localized flash flooding is possible on Thursday afternoon and evening.

    We’ll see scattered showers and possibly a rumble of thunder on Friday. Highs on Friday will be in the lower 80s. The chance of rain is 50%.

    Our rain chances will begin to drop on Saturday with highs in the middle 80s. The chance of rain is 25%.

    It will be partly cloudy on Sunday with highs in the middle 80s.

    Monday will be partly cloudy with highs in the upper 80s. The chance of rain is 20%.

    It will be partly cloudy on Tuesday with highs in the upper 80s. The chance of rain is 25%.
