Westside Gunn Announces New Album ‘Flygod Is an Awesome God III (Trilogy)’

About a month after giving fans a wellness check after he mourned the loss of a close friend, Westside Gunn has announced the title of his next project.

The Griselda final boss is looking to close out out his Flygod series with a third installment titled Flygod Is an Awesome God III (Trilogy) .

He made the announcement on his X account Monday (July 22), tweeting , “FLYGOD IS AN AWESOME GOD III (TRILOGY) This ALBUM IS KRAAAAAZY!!!! I had to Bring the Mask back out bc this s–t toooo RAW & DUSTY, I know the game Miss me even though my kids been doing a great job with entertaining… YOUR FATHERS BACK HOME.”

A few hours later, Gunn tweeted a snippet of a new song called “Big Dump” featuring Stove God Cooks and produced by Cee Gee.

He also premiered another new song “Chocolate Face” featuring DJ Khaled over the weekend which served as the theme song for TNA’s Slammiversary . The wrestling company’s X account made the announcement and stated that Flygod Is an Awesome God III (Trilogy) is “coming this fall.”

The Buffalo rapper had previously said that he’s done making studio albums, telling Rolling Stone in October, “I’m not saying I won’t come with a five-song EP with Madlib or I won’t do a seven-song EP with Alchemist or I won’t rap. I’ll do all of that, but making a studio album, I’m done with all that. It’s back to dumping until I don’t want to dump no more. I’m going to have fun now. It’s no more pressure.”
