After rumors of Celine Dion making a comeback performance at the Olympics , the Canadian singer has been seen in the French capital.

Celine was seen leaving the Royal Monceau hotel, near the Champs-Élysées, in Paris on Tuesday, days before the Olympics opening ceremony is set to begin. She was all smiles as she wore a white button up shirt with the collar popped and only a few buttons done up.

Over the shirt was a black blazer. She had her hair pulled back into a low ponytail and she waved as she got into the car waiting for her outside the hotel.

According to Variety, Celine is hoping to have her comeback performance at the 2024 Olympic opening ceremony on July 26. She hasn't performed since she canceled her tour in 2022 due to her Stiff Person Syndrom diagnosis and took a step back from the limelight.

Also staying at the same hotel as Celine is Lady Gaga, who is also rumored to be performing at the opening ceremony. This wouldn't be the first time that the 56-year-old would be performing at the Olympics. In 1996, Celine sang The Power of the Dream at the Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia.

The singer had alluded to a potential comeback in an Vogue France interview in April. She said: "I have this illness for some unknown reason. The way I see it, I have two choices. Either I train like an athlete and work super hard, or I switch off and it’s over, I stay at home, listen to my songs, stand in front of my mirror and sing to myself."

She added: "I've chosen to work with all my body and soul, from head to toe, with a medical team. I want to be the best I can be. My goal is to see the Eiffel Tower again!"

Celine released a documentary on Amazon Prime last month titled I Am: Celine Dion. The emotional documentary gave an inabashed look into the singer's life with Stiff Person Syndrome.

According to John Hopkins Medicine's website , Stiff Person Syndrome is "a rare autoimmune neurological disorder that most commonly causes muscle stiffness and painful spasms that come and go and can worsen over time."
