Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Steffy's Betrayal-- This Time It Has Nothing To Do With Sheila
2024-07-24
The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is in for a shocker on the CBS soap opera. Soap Opera Digest reports that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) betrays Steffy when he picks Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) over his daughter for the Monte Carlo trip.
Ridge breaks the news to Steffy just after she learns about Sheila Carter's (Kimberlin Brown) release from police custody. John 'Finn' Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) reveals that he doesn't believe Sheila committed the crime. In Steffy's mind, she hears her husband saying that Sheila is innocent. It sends her reeling.
"In Steffy's opinion, for being so damn smart, Finn can sometimes be clueless," MacInnes explains. "He, of course, broaches this very carefully with Steffy, in a very 'what if she is innocent?' kind of way. And asks Steffy to consider what Sheila's motive would be for killing them. Steffy doesn't think Sheila needs a motive. She's clearly a murdering sociopath."
While Steffy isn't thrilled by Finn's stance on Sheila's innocence, it's nothing new. It doesn't change her marriage or opinion of Finn. Steffy knows that Finn will have this connection with her until Sheila is gone for good. Wood shares that while Steffy gets annoyed about Finn's connection to Sheila, it isn't enough to break their marriage.
The problem comes from an unlikely source. Steffy learns that Ridge made Brooke the face of Brooke's Bedroom line. Not only will Brooke be the face of the line, he will be taking her to Monte Carlos instead of Steffy.
"She thought that she and her dad would be representing Forrester Creations by day and, by night, having much-needed father-daughter time together in beautiful Monaco without the pressing issues of real life surrounding them," Wood explains.
The Bold and the Beautiful star says Steffy feels frustrated, hurt, and disappointed. She looked forward to going to Monte Carlo and having a "logan-free zone" for a few days.
Ridge urges his daughter to put the past behind them. He thinks it's time she let go of her hostility toward Brooke and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). Ridge wants Steffy to give Brooke's line a chance.
"Given the history, it's doubtful. Steffy sees Brooke as the one who has consistently come between her parents and broken up her family," Wood explains. "There is that saying, 'Insanity is repeating the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.' Steffy doesn't feel Brooke will ever change."
If that's not enough drama for our girl Steffy, she gets into a heated exchange with Hope. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that Steffy feels Hope is encouraging Finn's connection to Sheila. She wants it to stop. Little does she know, it's much deeper. Hope's angle is to steal Finn from her.
"I think that Steffy feels that Hope is attempting to influence Steffy and Finn's marriage because of Sheila and Hope's insane thinking that Sheila and Hope's father, Deacon, have both turned a new leaf," The Bold and the Beautiful star points out. "But I don't think Steffy has any clue that Hope is regularly fantasizing about Finn. When that truth is revealed to Steffy…. Hope better be far, far away!"
