A first look at the upcoming thriller starring Barry Keoghan has been released . The actor returned home to Ireland to film the movie which is based in the west of Ireland.

Bring Them Down follows two farming families living in the west of Ireland that have growing tensions between them. Subsequently, the actions of the family members have detrimental consequences.

Michael - played by Christopher Abbott - is the youngest son of a family of sheep farmers. He lives with his “ailing father Ray” and battles overwhelming guilt over the death of his mother, which leads him to isolate himself from the world.

According to the logline of the film, "when a conflict with rival farmer Gary and his son Jack escalates, Michael is drawn into a devastating chain of events, forcing him to confront the horrors of his past and leaving both families permanently altered."

Keoghan plays the role of Jack, and can be seen in newly released stills from the movie with blood on his face and a moody expression. The film is set in the west of Ireland but was shot in Co Wicklow .
