Residents in parts of Pierce County have not yet received voters’ pamphlets in the mail because of a vendor error , the local elections office announced Tuesday.

Ballots for the Aug. 6 primary election haven’t been affected.

The Pierce County Elections Office said in a Tuesday news release that on July 29, pamphlets will be sent to Buckley, Orting, Steilacoom, Fife, Carbonado, DuPont, Kapowsin, McKenna, Key Peninsula, Wilkeson, South Prairie and certain areas of Spanaway, Parkland and Midland.

“We regret the error and we appreciate the willingness of the vendor to get pamphlets delivered as quickly as possible,” officials said in the release. “... We appreciate the communities’ understanding and patience as we work to rectify this situation.”

Voters can view the pamphlets online at PierceCountyElections.org , by going to a local library or by logging into VoteWa.gov . People also can contact the office via email, Elections@PierceCountyWA.gov, or call 253-798-8683.
