Quickly after its release in 2023, the novel Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros achieved massive success, which included a number one spot on The New York Times bestseller list and two sequels (with one of those sequels coming out January of 2025). It was announced back in October of 2023 that the book would be adapted into a television series , which has excited many fans. Recently, the television series announced that Moira Walley-Beckett will be the showrunner. This announcement means that this show is one step closer to production and a release. When she arrives at training, she does actually manage to bond with some dragons there, as well as build up a connection with wing leader Xaden. However, there are also some enemies that Violet and her classmates will have to fight off and there may also be some sinister secrets lurking in this school. Does Violet have what it takes to be a strong fighter and a powerful dragon rider?

‘Anne With An E’ Is Not Your Mom’s ‘Anne Of Green Gables’

Being the showrunner of a highly-anticipated series can be a difficult job. Fortunately, Walley-Beckett has a lot of great experience to back up her title. She is the creator of the popular CBC and Netflix show Anne With An E , which is based on the classic novel Anne of Green Gables , as well as the limited series Flesh and Bone , which put the cutthroat world of ballet on display. Walley-Beckett was also a writer for several seasons of the iconic drama series Breaking Bad . Along with Yarros being an executive producer, the show is also being produced by Outlier Society, which is Michael B. Jordan ’s production company. Outlier Society has worked with Amazon before, as they collaborated on the film Without Remorse , which had Jordan as the lead. The production company has worked on other films starring Jordan, including Creed III , Fahrenheit 451 , Just Mercy , and more. Furthermore, Amazon MGM and Outlier Society have both bought the rights to all of the novels in the book series, which means these companies are prepared to make the most out of the world of Fourth Wing .
