MINOT, ND ( KXNET ) — At the North Dakota State Fair there is a lot of ground to cover, whether it’s the parking lot or simply just around the fairgrounds.

There is help available as volunteers are busy driving folks around, getting them to and from, on golf cart shuttles.

Fair officials say there are shuttles stationed outside of Gate B that will take people to the entrance from the parking lot.

Upon entering the fair, there are also shuttles to take you to your destination.

After 5 p.m., they move four of the shuttles off of the fairgrounds and to the parking lot to help get people to the concerts, quicker.

Willie Jones, a veteran, says the shuttles are nice because it helps make sure you are not already tired before you even get there.

“Perfect, I am a disabled veteran. I was happy to see the young lady riding around and when I seen free shuttle I was like okay great. I asked her if it was okay, she said no problem brought us here so I am happy about that,” said Jones.

All shuttle rides start at noon. Fair officials say there are six shuttles, all of which are free and open for anyone to use.
