Simone Biles, a nine-time national champion and seven-time Olympic medalist, is the favorite to dominate the all-around competition at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Bile is also looking to nab a team gold alongside Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, Suni Lee, and newcomer Hezly Rivera.

One of Biles' former teammates, Laurie Hernandez, is heading to Paris as an NBC correspondent for the women's national team. Hernandez, who won team gold alongside Biles at the 2016 Rio Olympics, also won silver on beam.

While Hernandez officially retired from gymnastics in 2021, one would never know based on the video she posted of herself playing around the uneven bars. The 24-year-old captioned the post, "should I come out of retirement???đŸ€ȘđŸ€Ș," which caught Biles' attention.

"pls give me this cast," Biles commented, referring to the seamless way Hernandez mounted herself into a handstand position. "I just need to borrow it for a few weeks đŸ€žđŸŸđŸ‘€."

Biles' comment racked up over 3,200 likes. While the 27-year-old is the greatest gymnast of our generation, the uneven bars is largely considered her "weakest" event. However, she placed second on the uneven bars at the U.S. Gymnastics Trials last month, and won the event at the 2024 U.S. Championships.

Hernandez replied to Biles, "@simonebiles oh girl you can have itđŸ˜â™„ïž." She also shut down any speculation over making a legit comeback. "nah I love not having morning workouts anymore I’m good," she commented.

Hernandez, who won "Dancing With the Stars" in 2018, is simply thrilled to be retuning to the Olympics as an analyst.

She wrote in part after learning she got the gig, "It has taken a few days for me to figure out how to put my gratitude into words— I never would have thought that one day I’d go from competing at the Olympics to becoming an NBC Sports Gymnastics Analyst
 yet here we are."
