SIOUX FALLLS, S.D. (KELO) — The Missouri Valley Football Conference began a two day media event, which is all online and began on Tuesday.

The conference commissioner, along with coaches from NDSU, Indiana State, Murray State, Youngstown State and Northern Iowa spoke with the media Tuesday.

The coaches previewed their teams for the upcoming season, while commissioner Patty Viverito spoke about where the conference stands and the future she sees for the Missouri Valley. Viverito closed her remarks by announcing her retirement.

“This is the 40th year that I’ve been commissioner, it’s also the last year that I will be commissioner. I don’t think that’s a well kept secret. I plan to fully retire after this season. I’m very much looking forward to my last official visits to each of the campus’,” Viverito said.

SDSU coach Jimmy Rogers and USD coach Bob Nielson will speak to the media on Wednesday.
