Kate Middleton and her family have had a rough start to 2024, with her cancer treatment keeping her away from the public eye as she focuses on recovery .

The Princess of Wales has delighted Royal Family enthusiasts with two brave public appearances, first at Trooping The Colour last month and then at the Wimbledon men's final earlier this month . Kate has also been keeping fans informed about her journey through heartfelt posts on her social media platforms, as she navigates not only her diagnosis but also its effect on her three children.

As Kate and Prince William's children - Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis - are all set to break up from school for the summer, they will get to spend some quality time with their parents. Despite having a nanny, the pair are known to be very involved with their children and reportedly enjoy participating in activities like bike riding and baking.

However, it's not all playtime for George, Charlotte, and Louis, as William and Kate have set some rules at their home, Adelaide Cottage in Windsor - including one that must be followed without exception. According to a source, this is a golden rule they stick to religiously - no raising voices in the Royal residence.

Speaking to The Sun , the source said: "Shouting is absolutely 'off limits' for the children, and any hint of shouting at each other is dealt with by removal." But when the young royals get a bit cheeky, Kate and William don't send them off to sulk alone.

Instead, they opt for what's known as the 'sofa chat. ' The insider revealed: "The naughty child is taken away from the scene of the row or disruption and talked to calmly by either Kate or William. Things are explained and consequences outlined and they never shout at them."

Yesterday, Prince George was all smiles in a fresh photo released on social media to celebrate his 11th birthday. The heir has been celebrating his big day and looks every bit like the young gentleman in the new image, sporting a sharp suit and a relaxed shirt while smiling for the camera.

Snapped by his mom earlier this month in Windsor, the charming black and white photo came with a heartfelt birthday wish: "Wishing Prince George a very happy 11th birthday today!"

The young royal's birthday is hot on the heels of his appearance with his dad at the Euro 2024 final against Spain, marking another high-profile outing in a series of public engagements. Cheering from the stands at Berlin's Olympiastadion, they watched England's attempt to clinch a major men's trophy for the first time in 58 years fall short.
