The odds of winning the lottery are slim, but some parts of North Carolina have had more lucky winners than others.

Last year, more than $4.3 billion was spent on lottery tickets in North Carolina, according to The N.C. Education Lottery. While not every county had winning lottery tickets of $100,000 or more, most did.
