3 teenagers stabbed in Beaver County overnight

Three teenagers were stabbed in Beaver County overnight Wednesday.

Crews were called to the 1230 block of Beaver Midland Road in Industry just before 1 a.m.

One victim was flown to the hospital from the scene and the other two were taken to hospitals by ambulance. There’s currently no word on any of the victims’ conditions.

The Beaver Police Chief Dan Madgar tells Channel 11 that they’re still trying to unravel what happened, but know that tempers flaring between two groups of teenagers preceded the stabbing.

The groups were each made up of two boys and a girl and had an ongoing ex-boyfriend, ex-girlfriend dispute, Madgar said. One group pulled out knives during a confrontation at Industry Borough Park and stabbed the other three. The injured teens were driven to Beaver Midland Road.

“There were two or three police SUVs, and then there were three ambulances, and then I saw Lifeflight,” community member Donna Laurence said.

A car was towed from the scene and police questioned one of the teens at the station with his mother present.

Madgar tells us aggravated assault charges, and others, are expected to be filed.
