    ALBANY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — Happy Wednesday! According to Meteorologist Matt Mackie, some showers and storms could bring their way to our area with a high of 82 degrees today.

    Fonda’s boil water advisory has been going on for three weeks and NEWS10’s Anthony Krolikowski got the latest reaction from businesses. Also, campsites in Lake George are set to reopen following the storm damage from last week. This, and more, in your five things to know this Wednesday.

    1. Three weeks of Fonda’s boil water advisory, businesses react

    It’s been three weeks since the village of Fonda has been under a boil water advisory . Businesses up and down Main Street are doing their best to get by without that water.

    2. 9 camping and day-use sites in Lake George set to reopen

    The New York State Department of Conservation (DEC) will reopen nine camping and day-use sites in the Narrow Island group of Lake Geroge Islands that were closed due to storm damage. Two campsites on Hatchet Island and seven on Floating Battery Island will reopen Wednesday, July 24.

    3. NY delegates endorse Vice President Harris

    During a virtual meeting Monday night, New York Delegates voted to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris.

    4. Guilderland PD investigating Lola Saratoga burglary

    Police are investigating after a burglary and grand larceny at Lola Saratoga in Stuyvesant Plaza. The crime took place around 12:45 a.m. Tuesday.

    5. Cambridge schools to adopt no-phone policy

    At the start of the 2024-2025 school year, the Cambridge Central School District will no longer be able to use their phones or any other electronic devices during the school day.
