The latest Storm Tracker Forecast from meteorologist Matt Mackie:

After a warm, muggy, cloudy, and mostly dry start to the day, a few showers and storms will fire up after midday.

While it’s not an off-the-charts severe weather threat, one or two storms could produce gusty winds or hail. Heavy rain could make for waterlogged roads if the strongest storms happen to track over your evening commute route.

Only a few stray showers or sprinkles lingering after midnight. Light winds out of the south and clouds around mean we stay above average again, with temperatures only down into the upper 60’s in the Capital District.

Rain chances are lower tomorrow – while a few showers and storms can’t be ruled out, the more noticeable weather factor will be the clearing skies and falling humidity late in the day. Highs in the low 80’s will feel far nicer with a little less mugginess.

Friday and Saturday both look like winners. After comfortably cool starts, afternoon highs will reach the low to mid 80’s and humidity stays low.

Still not overly muggy on Sunday and Monday as temperatures surge to around the 90 degree mark – so toasty, but not oppressive. A chance shower or storm is possible Tuesday afternoon.
