Celine Dion is set to make a comeback performance at the Paris Olympics and another pop icon could be joining her, according to reports .

Celine was seen leaving the Royal Monceau hotel, near the Champs-Élysées, in Paris on Tuesday, July 23, days before the Olympics opening ceremony is set to begin. Celine hopes to have her comeback performance at the 2024 Paris Olympic opening ceremony on July 26, as she hasn't performed since she canceled her tour in 2022. She was diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome and took a step back from the limelight.

After showing a clip of Celine opening up about not being able to walk but saying "she won't stop" from her Amazon Video documentary, I Am Celine, Lara Spencer from Good Morning America couldn't stop gushing about how special that would be and how Lady Gaga could potentially join.

She said: "How special would that be if she performed. Another possible performer, Lady Gaga, has also reportedly been spotted in Paris so whatever they're cooking up for the opening ceremonies, it sounds like it's something you don't want to miss."

When spotted in Paris, Celine was all smiles as she wore a white button up shirt with the collar over her black blazer. She had her hair pulled back into a low ponytail and waved to the crowd when getting into the car waiting outside the hotel. Lady Gaga is also rumored to be staying at the same hotel as Celine.

This wouldn't be the first time the My Heart Will Go On singer would be performing at the Olympics. In 1996, Celine sang The Power of the Dream at the Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia.

The singer had hinted to a potential comeback in music during a Vogue France interview in April. She said: "I have this illness for some unknown reason. The way I see it, I have two choices. Either I train like an athlete and work super hard, or I switch off and it’s over, I stay at home, listen to my songs, stand in front of my mirror and sing to myself."
