Ajith Kumar to Join & Expand Prashanth Neel’s KGF Universe?

Filmmaker Prashanth Neel brought global fame to the Kannada film industry with his 2018 movie KGF: Chapter 1. The movie follows the story of Rocky, a poor orphan kid who grows up to become the most dreaded gangster in Mumbai.

The story of his triumph proceeds in the sequel KGF: Chapter 2, also directed by Neel. He created the KGF universe with many actors, including Yash, Raveena Tandon, Sanjay Dutt, and more. Reports claim that he is expanding it with two more movies starring Ajith Kumar.

Has Ajith Kumar signed two movies in the KGF Universe?

According to a report by DT Next, sources have revealed that Prashanth Neel approached Ajih Kumar for two movies. These two projects could be either AK 64 and AK 65 or AK 65 and AK 66.

The source told the publication, “Ajith and Prashanth had a meeting during Vidaa Muyarchi’s schedule break last month. Prashanth has asked over three years of Ajith’s time. Their first collaboration, which could be AK 64, will be a standalone project. This will go on floors in 2025 and release in 2026.”

The source further spilled beans about the second collaboration and how it would fit into the KGF Universe. “The climax of the second film will lead to KGF 3, and Ajith’s character is touted to be the biggest of them all in Prashanth Neel Cinematic Universe,” the source reported.

If the report is to be believed, Ajith Kumar and Yash could share screen space. Moreover, the movies will be able to attract large audiences and make millions.
