Jamie Lee Curtis Is All Curves In New Photos Filming On Set Of ‘Freaky Friday 2’

Disney officially announced Freaky Friday 2 back in May 2023, and filming has since kicked off, seeing much of the original cast reunite for the first time in some 20 years. Jamie Lee Curtis was recently spotted on set wearing an outfit that showed off her curves as she embarked on a freaky trip down memory lane alongside her former co-star Lindsay Lohan.

Freaky Friday 2 promises to be an exciting union of familiar and new in several aspects. The film takes place several years after the 2003 original—which itself is actually one of a few separate films telling a similar story. Curtis is not the only returning cast member, but she will also be working alongside some newcomers eager to tell a new story with the Coleman family, which is growing in pretty significant ways.

New images have surfaced of Curtis in costume and in-character, filming on the set of Freaky Friday 2. They depict her at one point sitting in a vibrant red Corvette, slipping out of the vehicle, and strutting down the street.

Most notably, they also show her wardrobe for that particular scene. Curtis is seen wearing her shirt-sleeved blue-gray blouse open, allowing the deep V and wide neckline to show off her curves over a thick black belt that hugs close to her waistline.

Her signature shock of white hair is worn longer than her short-cropped brown hair, which was in the original film, this time down to chin length, framing her face in full waves. Finishing the look is a pair of wide, round glasses and clunky jewelry shining around her wrists.

Treading familiar ground with a fresh twist

Several original cast members will be returning to Freaky Friday 2 to reprise their roles from the original; in addition to Curtis, franchise veterans also include NCIS icon Mark Harmon as well as Curtis’s co-star and on-screen daughter Lindsay Lohan.

Chad Michael Murray, Stephen Tobolowsky, Christina Vidal, Haley Hudson, and Lucille Soong are set to return for the sequel, while Manny Jacinto and Julia Butters represent some of the newcomers.

Filming officially kicked off in June, and while fans are clamoring for this trip down memory lane, Jacinto is most excited about being a part of both Lohan’s return to the spotlight and stepping out of his own comfort zone.

“I never would’ve thought I’d be a part of the Lohanaissance,” he marveled, speaking with GQ. “She’s an icon. But I took this role because it’s definitely another big shift and something I’d never done before.”

Indeed, after securing national fame as a child star through the ‘90s and 2000s, Lohan seemingly withdrew from the spotlight, a retreat that came after a series of legal problems that frequently interrupted her career with the turn of the century. She is regaining her momentum now, however, and has appeared in over 30 films and has numerous additional acting credits to her name.
