Dogs are incredibly intelligent creatures. Sometimes they're smarter than we give them credit for. And, when treats are involved, they really put their best paw forward. An English Bulldog named Teeter has figured out how to get the most treats for having good manners, and it's a riot!

In a TikTok video posted by Teeter the English Bulldog ( @teeter.bulldog ), the very smart girl knows exactly how to get more treats from Mom. Watch how she carefully wipes her face after getting a drink. Humans could learn a thing or two from this gal!

In the video captioned, "She makes the rules now," Teeter has a hefty amount of water from her bowl before gently laying her chin into the bowl beside it, which has a small towel to soak up any drippings left on her face. Mom gives her a treat for learning to clean herself up, so Teeter does the process again, then again, and again because she now knows she'll be rewarded with more treats. She's so smart!

It's no wonder this video has blown up. With nearly 65,000 likes and hundreds of comments of praise and support, this English Bulldog has a lot of fans rooting for her.

"She’s got you trained," on person wrote. "I love the fact that she’s probably thinking 'this lady really loves when I set my face in this bowl,'" another joked. "She’s gonna never leave the water bowl!" another added.

One thing's for sure—Teeter is the Queen of getting treats. Next, she'll have Mom giving them for just existing (and who'd blame her?)!

    Tips For Dog Training

Teeter has the whole face-wiping thing down, but it surely took a little work to get there. Small Door Veterinary says training your dog doesn't have to be a chore. They offer 10 training tips for getting things started right.

    • Use positive reinforcement techniques. When your dog demonstrates good behavior and responds positively to your commands, give them a reward.

    • Find the right reward. It helps to offer something they want to work for and are excited about.

    • Stay consistent. Make sure everyone in the house knows what to do also.

    • Train little and often. Five minutes is a good amount of time to practice before your dog gets distracted or tired.

    • Build in stages. Break down the command into smaller pieces and reward them with every step.

    • Make it fun. This is obvious! Teach them fun tricks they want to show off.

    • Praise them a lot. No matter how small, give them all the compliments and affection.

    • Work training into everyday life. For example, Ask them to "sit" for dinner and incorporate it often.

    • Use hand signals. Some dogs respond better to hand cues than verbal, so give it a try.

    • Take a training class or consult a dog trainer. They have the experience to help you get your dog where you want them. Whether it's wiping their face like Teeter or more basic commands, the right training and guidance goes a long way.

With a little persistence and patience, you'll be well on the way to having a well-mannered pup in no time! And if you throw in a few well-deserved treats? Major bonus points for your four-legged friend.
