Drew McIntyre Appears On The Poster For New Dave Bautista Movie ‘The Killer’s Game’

Drew McIntyre is on the post for Dave Bautista ‘s new movie.

The Scottish star has a role in The Killer’s Game , alongside former WWE Champion Dave Bautista. The film is an action comedy starting Bautista, based on a novel by Jay Bonansinga. It releases on September 13 in the United States, and will be McIntyre’s first movie appearance.

As noted by Matt Grobar and Andreas Wiseman of Deadline , the film centers around “veteran assassin Joe Flood (Bautista), who is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness and authorizes a kill on himself to avoid the pain that is destined to follow. After ordering the kill, he finds out that he was misdiagnosed and must then fend off the army of former colleagues trying to kill him.”

McIntyre, who is currently embroiled in a feud with CM Punk, appeared in the trailer for the movie. McIntyre appears at 1:30 in the trailer. It only shows him very briefly, indicating his part may be very small.

Despite the seemingly small role, Drew McIntyre features on the poster for the movie. Bautista Tweeted out a picture of the film poster, which showed the Scot featured. He can be seen in the bottom right of the poster, and is dressed in Mick Foley-style red plaid.

Drew McIntyre Reflects On His WWE Release

Drew McIntyre has reflected on his WWE release back in 2014.

In a new video posted to Twitter , McIntyre looked back on the WWE.com article that confirmed his exit from the company. In assessing it, McIntyre particularly focused on the headline, which his categorized his name under the umbrella of “other.”

“‘Brodus Clay, Evan Bourne, Teddy Long, Curt Hawkins and other WWE Superstars released,’” McIntyre read. “It was ten years ago today. I am one of the ‘other.’ I’m not even in the picture here. Ten years ago was the best thing that happened to me, because I ended up right back here in ICW. I found myself as a performer. I found myself as a man, grew business outside of WWE, and ten years later, main event Clash at the Castle. Not bad for ‘other.’”
